Built in 1860 to serve the British Royal Navy's Pacific Squadron at the entrance of Esquimalt harbour, the Fisgard Lighthouse holds the distinction of being the first lighthouse built on Canada's west coast.  Still in use today (though automated since 1929), the lighthouse guides mariners to the nearby harbours and anchorages as well as serves as one of the most iconic tourist destinations in the Capital Regional District. It is a national historic site managed by Parks Canada as part of Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites of Canada.

Havenwood Park is a 16.5 hectare (40 acre) parcel of land located in Colwood, British Columbia. Complex topography, comprised of moderately to steeply sloped hillsides with an elevation range of 100m to 165m above sea level it contains bedrock outcrop Garry Oak ecosystems, wetland/riparian habitat, permanent/ephemeral watercourses and a mixed cover of second growth coniferous and deciduous trees. Habitat Acquisition Trust (HAT) holds a conservation covenant on this Colwood Park near Latoria Rd.

You can rent a bike locker at the Western Exchange by contacting the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition at info@gvcc.bc.ca. Locker rentals are $10.00 per month, and a $30.00 refundable deposit is required for the key.
