The Growing Young Farmers Society aims to excite and educate school-aged children about organic farming and sustainable food production. Children attending classes through the GYF Society receive hands-on gardening experience, as well as classroom time used to discuss the importance of local gardening and farming, as well as the role permaculture plays in food production.
