Esquimalt GVPL

The new Esquimalt Branch opened on May 15, 2003. The Esquimalt Branch faces the Town Square at the back of the Esquimalt Municipal Hall and has space for Internet computers, collections and for the public to use for reading and studying. There is also a children's program room to beckon children into storytimes and other programs.

The Greater Victoria Public Library endeavours to grow with local communities to benefit present and future generations. The library system serves 10 municipalities in the Capital Regional District. A wide range of materials are available to borrow including books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, audiobooks, databases, encyclopedias and electronic resources. There are books and resources for all age groups and literacy levels including multicultural and Aboriginal materials.  Each branch hosts a variety of events and programs such as family storytime, computer classes, reading buddies, talks on various topics, and demonstrations.
