The Galloping Goose Regional Trail - Connecting the CRD

The Galloping Goose begins in Downtown Victoria, running 151 hectares (60 kilometres) through Sooke, because of this vast range, and the ability for the trail to connect communities. The focus of our video was to show the human and social aspects of the trail, and how it provides a sense of place for The Capital Regional District (CRD). Throughout the video we interview students, business owners, and individuals using the trail.

In GEOG 219, students' final projects consider multi-perspectives on social and environmental sustainibility initiatives in the CRD.
These videos are the result of the students' careful reflection and creativity. They are meant to enlighten, inform and inspire reflection on and care for the special places that we call home.
