Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria

The Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria provides support and tools for newcomers while helping other organizations connect across cultures. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available (e.g., career mentor, conversation buddy, English language teacher’s assistant, youth services volunteer). James Bay New Horizons Society

The James Bay New Horizons Society is a non-profit community centre offering programs and services for members of the local community. It is their goal to help people maintain, improve and develop new skills, interests and social opportunities. They offer a variety of recreational programs (e.g., arts and crafts, fitness, games, and social groups.)

Shekinah Homes Society

The purpose of the Shekinah Homes Society is to support adults with developmental disabilities in a collective community. People with disabilities are respected as valued members of society by ensuring they have opportunities for personal growth and self determination.
